Yurii Yekhanurov

11th prime minister of Ukraine

Yurii Yekhanurov (born 1948) is the 11th prime minister of Ukraine. He was born in Belkachi on 23 August 1948.

Yurii Yekhanurov held office as Prime Minister of Ukraine (2005–2006), Prime Minister of Ukraine (in 2005), People's Deputy of Ukraine (1998–2000) and People's Deputy of Ukraine (2002–2005). The work most closely associated with the name includes Understanding Technology in the Context of National Development: Critical Reflections. He was attached to Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Yurii Yekhanurov received Order of the Badge of Honour, Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 4th class, Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class and Honorary Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. He was elected to 6th Verkhovna Rada, 5th Verkhovna Rada and 4th Verkhovna Rada. He was educated at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
