Yurii Andrukhovych (born 1960) is an Ukrainian writer, poet, essayist and translator. Andrukhovych was born in Ivano-Frankivsk on 13 March 1960.
Andrukhovych worked in poetry, Ukrainian literature and essay.
The honours on record include Herder Prize (2001), Hannah Arendt Prize (2014), Antonovych prize, Goethe Medal (2016) and Leipzig Book Award for European Understanding (2006). Andrukhovych was elected to German Academy for Language and Literature and National Writers' Union of Ukraine. He studied at Maxim Gorky Literature Institute and Ukrainian Academy of Printing.
Andrukhovych had one recorded child, Sofia Andrukhovych.
