Professional Formation and Early Career
Bodek attended the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, graduating with honors from the department of Environmental Design in 1989. He subsequently earned a B.Arch degree from the Technion in Haifa in 1990. Before establishing his own firm, Bodek Architects, in 1990, he spent several years working with the Avraham Yasky architectural company in Tel Aviv. His academic credentials expanded in 1995 when he received an M.P.A degree from Clark University in Massachusetts.

The architect maintains a dual focus on practice and education. He began his teaching career at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 1991. Between 2001 and 2004, he served as the deputy head of the Architecture Department at Ariel University. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Architecture and leads the lecturers' organization at Bezalel. His involvement in institutional governance includes roles as a founder and deputy chairman of staff organization boards at higher education institutions.

Major works include the Meron School in Tel Aviv, the Sea Sports Centre in Eilat, and two pedestrian bridges in Ashdod.
