Rajesh Khanna (1942–2012) was an Indian actor and film producer. Khanna was born in Amritsar on 29 December 1942. He died in Mumbai on 18 July 2012, at the age of 70.
Khanna held office as Member of the Lok Sabha. He had begun working by 1966.
Khanna received Filmfare Award for Best Actor (1971), Filmfare Award for Best Actor (1972), BFJA Awards for Best Actor (1972), BFJA Awards for Best Actor (1973) and Filmfare Special Award (1973).
