Academic Foundations and Early Development
At age 14, Sedrakyan moved from Ninotsminda to Yerevan to enroll in the A. Shahinyan PhysMath School. This transition marked his commitment to intensive mathematical study. He served as president of the Armenian Mathematics Olympiads and led the Armenian team at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). His administrative and committee work extends to the Zhautykov International Mathematical Olympiad and the International Olympiad of Metropolises. Between 1986 and 2013, he organized the Tournament of the Towns in the Republic of Armenia.
