Guedj entered the second season of HaKokhav HaBa in 2014, performing songs including "Russian Roulette" by Rihanna and "Lately" by Stevie Wonder. After reaching the final rounds, he secured victory on 17 February 2015 by performing "Halo" by Beyoncé. This win designated him to perform "Golden Boy" at the Eurovision Song Contest. Following his Eurovision appearance, Guedj maintained a consistent release schedule throughout 2015 and 2016. He debuted "Summer Together," a song endorsed by Coca-Cola, in August 2015, followed by the singles "Good Vibes," "Jump," "Make You Mine," and "Hold the City." His self-titled debut studio album arrived on 25 May 2016. In 2017, he shifted toward his native language with the release of "Ulay Nedaber," followed by the singles "Ma At Omeret" and "38 Ma'alot," the latter serving as the theme for the film Full Gas.
Acting Projects and Artistic Range
Beyond his musical contributions, Guedj expanded into acting. In 2018, he joined the cast for the third season of the Israeli teen drama series Cadabra. His film credits include the 2019 production Full Gas, for which he also contributed musically. Later, in 2021, he appeared in the television series HaYoreshet on Channel 12. Although critics and observers sometimes compare his musical style to artists like Usher and Justin Timberlake, he maintains a preference for being identified simply by his own name.

Guedj was born to an Algerian Jewish family in Paris before relocating to Israel. In 2016, he enlisted in the Israeli Army.
