His work extended far from his base in Shusha, reaching Odesa where he completed the Tatar Mosque in 1870, and Ashgabat, where he oversaw the construction of the Mosque Qarabaghlar. Additionally, he completed a mausoleum in Barda in 1868.
Life and Legacy
Born in 1817 in Shusha, Karabakhi maintained his citizenship within the Russian Empire throughout his career. He remained professionally active for decades, leaving a lasting influence on the architectural landscape of the region. He died in 1910 at the age of 93 and was subsequently buried at the Mirza Hasan cemetery.
