Amir-Abbas Hoveyda (1919–1979) was an Iranian politician, diplomat and writer. Hoveyda was born in Tehran on 18 February 1919. He died in Tehran on 7 April 1979, at the age of 60.
Hoveyda served as Prime Minister of Iran (1965–1977).
Hoveyda was awarded Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour and Grand Cross of the Order of Cisneros (1975). He was educated at Université libre de Bruxelles and Free University of Brussels.
Hoveyda was the son of Habibullah Khan Hoveida. He married Leila Emami. He is recorded as following Baháʼí Faith. The recorded cause of death is execution by shooting.
