Early Career at Toulouse
Adli signed his initial professional contract with Toulouse on 30 October 2018. His first professional appearance occurred on 18 December 2019 during a 3–1 Coupe de la Ligue loss against Lyon. During the 2020–21 Ligue 2 season, he recorded 7 goals and 8 assists, contributing to the team reaching the playoffs. On 26 August 2021, Adli transitioned to German football by signing a five-year contract with Bayer Leverkusen. His debut goal for the club arrived on 30 September 2021 in a 4–0 Europa League victory over Celtic. He registered his first Bundesliga goal on 20 November 2021, securing a 1–0 win against VfL Bochum. During the 2023–24 season, he was a member of the squad that secured the unbeaten Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal, while also finishing as a DFB-Pokal top goalscorer.
Premier League Move
Following his move to Bournemouth in August 2025, Adli debuted as a substitute on 23 August during a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He scored his first goal for the English club in a 3–2 defeat to Sunderland on 29 November 2025. On 24 January 2026, he provided a 95th-minute goal to secure a 3–2 victory over Liverpool, marking Bournemouth's first win against that opponent since 11 March 2023.
International Representation
Despite his youth career with France, Adli committed his senior international future to Morocco. He received his first call-up in August 2023 for fixtures against Liberia and Burkina Faso. His international scoring account opened on 17 October 2023 in a 3–0 win against Liberia. Subsequently, he was selected for the 27-man squad representing Morocco at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast.
