His transition to Dynamo Kyiv in August 1992 proved pivotal. He became the league's all-time top scorer, accumulating 123 goals across 261 league appearances for both clubs. His tenure at Tottenham Hotspur proved difficult, with only nine league goals in 29 games during his opening season. After the departure of George Graham in 2001, he struggled for first-team opportunities. A later stint at West Ham United resulted in a single league goal against Watford in November 2004.
Managerial Evolution
Following retirement in 2009, Rebrov moved into coaching, initially with the Dynamo Kyiv reserves. He was appointed acting manager in 2014 and led the club to two league titles and two Ukrainian Cup victories. His career expanded to Hungary with Ferencváros, where he managed the side for three seasons beginning in 2018. In 2023, he assumed control of the Ukraine national team, guiding them to qualification for UEFA Euro 2024.
