Swedish disc jockey and record producer of Italian descent

The career of Sebastian Ingrosso began in 1999 with the release of a remix through Mega Records. Born in Stockholm in 1983, the Swedish musician, songwriter, and record producer eventually ascended to global prominence as a founding member of the influential electronic music group Swedish House Mafia and later as part of the duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso.

Early Career and Refune Music

Before achieving international fame, Ingrosso spent years developing his sound in Stockholm. In 2003, he established his own record label, Refune Music, to manage his output and support other artists. During this period, he fostered deep professional relationships with fellow Swedish DJs including Axwell, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, and Alesso, establishing a network that would define the Swedish house music scene.

The Rise of Swedish House Mafia

In late 2008, Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axwell formed Swedish House Mafia. The group gained rapid momentum, debuting on the DJ Mag top 100 list in 2009. Their 2010 debut album, Until One, featured hits such as 'One (Your Name)' and 'Miami 2 Ibiza'. Their commercial dominance peaked with the multi-platinum single 'Don't You Worry Child', which reached number one in Australia, the UK, and Sweden.

Transition to Axwell Λ Ingrosso

Following the conclusion of Swedish House Mafia's final tour at the 2013 Ultra Music Festival, Ingrosso moved into a new collaboration with Axwell. Debuting at the 2014 Governors Ball in New York City, the duo released their first EP, X4. Their 2017 debut album, More Than You Know, consolidated their position in the industry, and in 2018, the pair performed as part of the reunited Swedish House Mafia at the 20th anniversary of Ultra Miami.
