Early Background and Artistic Development
Born in 1973 in Grenoble, France, Hervé received early musical exposure through the record collections of her parents, which included Genesis, Pink Floyd, and Miles Davis. She studied ballet from age five until twenty-two. Her formal education included studies at the Beaux-Arts of Grenoble between 1993 and 1994, followed by a graphic design program in Amiens completed in 1995.

In 1997, she met DJ Hell in Marseille, leading to a recording contract with his International DJ Gigolo label. She gained widespread recognition in 1998 for the EP Champagne, recorded with The Hacker. This release featured the tracks 1982 and Frank Sinatra, which became foundational hits within the European electroclash scene. The duo released their First Album in 2001, which sold over 50,000 copies worldwide despite not reaching commercial chart positions.
Collaborative Projects and Solo Endeavors
While touring in support of First Album, she collaborated with Felix da Housecat to compose tracks including Silver Screen Shower Scene and Madame Hollywood. Subsequent collaborations included working with Golden Boy on the album Or, featuring the club success Rippin Kittin, and contributing to the Chicks on Speed album 99 Cents. In 2004, she launched her debut solo album, I Com, which produced three singles: Professional Distortion, Requiem for a Hit, and Happy Violentine.
Professional Recognition
Throughout her career, she has balanced roles as a composer, producer, and performer. In 2002, she curated the techno compilations On the Road and Radio Caroline Vol.1, which demonstrated her technical proficiency as a disc jockey. In 2023, the French government recognized her contributions to the arts by awarding her the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
