Liu Yandong (born 1945) is a Chinese politician and chemist. She was born in Huai'a District on 22 November 1945.
Liu served as Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (2013–2018), member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party (2007–2017), member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and National People's Congress deputy.
Liu was awarded Order of Friendship and Silver Olympic Order (2008). She was educated at Tsinghua University, Jilin University (doctorate) and Renmin University of China (master's degree).
Liu is recorded as following atheism.
