Early Training and Physical Recovery
Hunter studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, later becoming an associate there and directing student productions. She also sought instruction in clowning from Philippe Gaulier in France. During her time at RADA, she suffered injuries including a broken back, pelvis, and arm, which resulted in a permanent limp and limited mobility. Despite initial prognoses regarding her physical future, she continued her career as a performer.
