Early Career and Domestic Success
Born on 24 November 1984 in Brandfort, Dikgacoi started his football path at the local Cardiff Spurs before moving to the Bloemfontein Young Tigers. In 2005, he joined Golden Arrows. As a holding midfielder, he rose to prominence within the team, eventually earning the captain's armband before his move to European football.

In August 2009, Dikgacoi signed with Fulham following a successful trial period. His debut on 4 October 2009 proved difficult, resulting in a red card after 41 minutes. By February 2011, he moved to Crystal Palace on loan, signing a permanent deal that July for £600,000. He later joined Cardiff City on a three-year contract in 2014, though persistent injuries hampered his time there until his departure in 2016.
International Competition
Dikgacoi made his international debut for South Africa on 27 May 2007 during a COSAFA Cup fixture against Mauritius. He scored his first two goals for the national team on 7 June 2008 against Equatorial Guinea. Over his career, he participated in the 2008 and 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Transition to Coaching and Business
After retiring from professional play in July 2018, Dikgacoi moved into coaching and entrepreneurship. He currently serves as the manager of Witbank Spurs. Additionally, he entered the business sector with partner Tieho Benny Mokhalinyane, launching the International Sports Apparel Design Institute, which secured a supply agreement with the Football Association of Malawi.
