Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler made his Bundesliga debut at the age of 17 on 15 January 2011, entering the field for Schalke 04 in a match against Hamburger SV. This appearance established him as one of the youngest players in the history of the German top flight, marking the beginning of a professional career that spanned major European leagues and international success.

Early Career at Schalke 04

Draxler developed through the youth ranks at Schalke 04, quickly transitioning to the senior squad. In May 2011, he scored the opening goal in the DFB-Pokal final, securing a victory over MSV Duisburg. During his tenure, he played 171 competitive matches, contributing 30 goals. By the end of the 2012–13 season, he became the club's joint top goalscorer in the league, netting ten times. He remained with the club until August 2015.

Transition to VfL Wolfsburg

In August 2015, Draxler signed a five-year deal with VfL Wolfsburg for a reported fee of €36 million. His time at the club included a significant performance in the 2015–16 UEFA Champions League, where he scored twice against Gent to help the team reach the quarter-finals for the first time. However, following a difficult start to the 2016–17 season, he sought a departure.

Paris Saint-Germain and International Play

Draxler joined Paris Saint-Germain in January 2017 for a reported fee of €42 million. He scored on his competitive debut in the Coupe de France and continued his career in France before moving to the Qatar Stars League to play for Al Ahli. Internationally, he earned over 50 caps for Germany. He was part of the squad that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup and captained the team to victory in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he received the Golden Ball award.
