Since his senior debut in 1997, Vori secured over thirty club titles across leagues in Italy, Spain, Germany, and France before transitioning into coaching.
Early Success and European Campaigns
Born in Zagreb in 1980, Vori began his professional journey at RK Zagreb. After collecting domestic league and cup titles, he moved to Italy, representing Pallamano Prato and Pallamano Conversano. His ability to secure major accolades continued in Spain with FC Barcelona, where he won the Liga ASOBAL and the Copa del Rey. His tenure at German side HSV Hamburg brought further prestige, most notably the EHF Champions League title in 2013, followed by a successful stint at Paris Saint-Germain.

Vori debuted for Croatia in 2001, contributing to a golden era for the national team. He was instrumental in winning the 2003 World Championship and the 2004 Olympic gold medal. Over his career, he earned multiple silver and bronze medals at both World and European Championships. His defensive prowess was recognized at the 2008 European Championship, where he was named the best defensive player. During the 2009 World Championship on home soil, he received the most valuable player award.
Transition to Coaching
Following his retirement from play, which included a brief return to RK Zagreb in 2022, Vori focused on management and instruction. He served as an assistant to Lino Červar, winning gold at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. His head coaching roles have included stints at RK Zagreb, the U21 Croatian national team, and TV Großwallstadt. In 2023, he assumed the head coaching position at the Croatian club MRK Sesvete.
