Ali Akbar Khan (1922–2009) was an Indian composer, singer and musician. Khan was born in Brahmanbaria on 14 April 1922. He died in San Francisco on 18 June 2009, at the age of 87.

Khan was awarded MacArthur Fellows Program (1991), Padma Bhushan (1967), Padma Vibhushan (1989), Fellow of the Sangeet Natak Akademi and honorary doctor of the University of Calcutta.
