Series eleven of Britain's Got Talent ran its auditions on ITV between 15 April and 27 May 2017, drawing audiences of between 10.69 and 11.69 million. Five acts were carried straight into the live shows by golden buzzer. The final was broadcast on 3 June 2017 to 10.07 million viewers. The pianist Tokio Myers won with 24.2 percent, ahead of the eight-year-old illusionist Issy Simpson on 17.5 and Daliso Chaponda on 14.7. Matt Edwards took 7.9 percent, the singing duo The Pensionalities 6.9 and Kyle Tomlinson 6.7.
Ikumu finished seventh with 5.6 percent, ahead of the Missing People Choir on 5.2, MerseyGirls on 5.1, Ned Woodman on 3.2 and the mentalist duo DNA on 3.0. Of the five golden buzzer acts, Chaponda finished third, Edwards fourth, Tomlinson sixth, Ikumu seventh and MerseyGirls ninth. None of them won, and neither the winner nor the runner-up had received a buzzer at all.
