Yohannes IV

Emperor of Ethiopia from 1871 to 1889

Yohannes IV (1837–1889) was the Emperor of Ethiopia from 1871 to 1889. He was born in Adwa on 11 July 1837. He died in Metemma on 9 March 1889, at the age of 52.
