Early Business Development
Born in 1970 in Legnica, Poland, Czechowicz initiated his commercial activities as a teenager by coding and selling computer accessories at trade centers in Wrocław and Warsaw. During his university studies, he began importing hardware, becoming one of Commodore 64’s largest European customers. He attended the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, the Wrocław University of Economics, and the Warsaw School of Economics, while also earning an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Following his exit from JTT Computer SA in 1998, Czechowicz founded MCI Group in 1999. As of 19 September 2024, the fund manages assets totaling PLN 2.7 billion. The firm targets buyout and expansion opportunities within the digital economy, typically investing between €30 million and €100 million per project. Notable historical exits include the sale of iZettle to PayPal for over $2 billion and the sale of Dotcard to the Nexi Group for PLN 315 million.

Czechowicz maintains a rigorous schedule of endurance sports to support his professional capacity. He has completed over 50 marathons, including events in New York, Tokyo, and Paris, and has finished multiple full IronMan competitions in locations such as Gdynia, Barcelona, and Panama City Beach.
