Steve Patrik Angello Josefsson Fragogiannis began his career as a scratch DJ at the age of 12 in Sweden. Born in Athens in 1982 to a Greek father and a Swedish mother, he developed an early interest in hip-hop and breakbeats before transitioning into the electronic music scene during his teenage years in Solna.
Early Productions and Size Records
Angello founded his record label, Size Records, in Stockholm in 2003. Through this platform, he released tracks such as 'Gypsy' and 'Isabel'. Early in his career, he operated under several aliases, including Who's Who, and produced collaborations with Sebastian Ingrosso under names like Fireflies and The Sinners. By 2004, he had produced a remix of Eurythmics' 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' and collaborated with Eric Prydz on the A&P Project.

In late 2008, Angello teamed up with Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso to form the electronic group Swedish House Mafia. The group gained massive commercial momentum, releasing the compilation album 'Until One' in 2010, which featured singles 'One (Your Name)' with Pharrell Williams and 'Miami 2 Ibiza' featuring Tinie Tempah. Their success continued with the 2012 release 'Until Now,' which included the multi-platinum hit 'Don't You Worry Child.'
Solo Milestones and Label Expansion
Angello's solo work includes notable remixes of Pendulum's 'The Island' and Alex Metric's 'Open Your Eyes.' In 2013, he marked the tenth anniversary of Size Records by releasing 'SLVR' with Matisse & Sadko. He also expanded his label operations by launching the tech-house label 'X' and distributing for Brobot Records. In 2012, he launched Size TV to document his personal and professional life.
Concluding the Supergroup Era
After a period of global touring, Swedish House Mafia embarked on their 'One Last Tour' in November 2012. The group officially disbanded following their final performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2013. Following the split, Angello continued his production work, releasing tracks such as 'Payback' with Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman in 2014.
