The first Macintosh computer owned by Sean Lennon was a gift from Steve Jobs, who presented the machine to the musician during an October 1984 visit to Manhattan. Born in New York City in 1975, Lennon built a multifaceted career that spans production, composition, and performance across several decades of the music and film industries.
Early Musical Development
Lennon's early exposure to the recording industry began at age five when he provided a recitation for his mother’s 1981 album, Season of Glass. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, he contributed vocals and production assistance to projects such as Starpeace and Onobox. His collaborative efforts expanded in 1991 when he co-wrote the track All I Ever Wanted with Lenny Kravitz, later joining Kravitz to protest the Gulf War by covering Give Peace a Chance.
