Born at the Tatoi Palace on 20 May 1967, Pavlos became the heir apparent to the Greek throne from the moment of his birth. His early life unfolded during a period of intense political upheaval, resulting in his family fleeing Greece within eight months of his arrival, eventually establishing a base in London.
Exile and Education
After the failure of his father's counter-coup against the military junta, Pavlos lived in Rome and Copenhagen before settling in London. He attended the Hellenic College of London, followed by two years at the Armand Hammer United World College of the American West. His training continued at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he earned a commission as a second lieutenant in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards in 1987. He later obtained a degree from Georgetown University.

Pavlos has maintained a career as an investment consultant and serves as a co-founder of Ortelius Advisors, an activist hedge fund. His legal status in Greece shifted in 1994 when the government under Andreas Papandreou renounced his citizenship alongside that of his father. He holds citizenship in both Greece and the Kingdom of Denmark.
Succession and Family
Upon the death of his father, Constantine II, on 10 January 2023, Pavlos assumed the role of Head of the Royal House of Greece. He married Marie-Chantal Miller in 1995. The couple has five children: Maria-Olympia, Constantine-Alexios, Achileas-Andreas, Odysseas-Kimon, and Aristides-Stavros. He is a member of the Eastern Orthodox Church and holds several honors, including the Knight of the Order of the Elephant.
