By utilizing YouTube, Facebook, and iTunes, he garnered a substantial following in Indonesia and Malaysia, where his debut became the highest-selling album of 2010. His work often features multilingual releases, with songs such as Insha Allah and Asalamu Alayka recorded in various languages, including English, French, Arabic, Turkish, Malay, and Indonesian.

Beyond his discography, which includes albums such as Forgive Me and Back To You, Zain participates in humanitarian efforts.
