Leonid Pasechnik (born 1970) is a Russian politician and head of the Lugansk People's Republic. He was born in Luhansk on 15 March 1970.
Leonid Pasechnik served as Head of the Luhansk People's Republic (from 2017) and Minister of State Security (from 2014).
Leonid Pasechnik was awarded Medal For Military Service to Ukraine, Order of Friendship, Order of Akhmad Kadyrov and Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st class. He was educated at Donetsk High Military Political School of Engineering and Communication Forces.
