Karol Linetty initiated his professional football career in 2012 with Lech Poznań, marking his debut on 2 November during a match against Wisła Kraków. Early Career in Poland
Linetty developed within the ranks of Lech Poznań, joining the first team in 2012. His impact in the domestic league earned him recognition, specifically the 2014 Polish Newcomer of the Year award. In July 2016, Linetty transitioned to Serie A by signing a five-year deal with Sampdoria, where he recorded over 100 appearances. In September 2020, he moved to Torino for a fee of €7.5 million. He remained with Torino until June 2025, during which he extended his contract in January 2024 and registered a goal against Roma in November 2023.
International Experience and Later Career
Linetty debuted for the Polish senior squad on 18 January 2014, scoring in a victory against Norway. He represented his nation at UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Following his departure from Italy in 2025, he had a brief stint with the Turkish side Kocaelispor. In August 2026, he secured a two-year contract with Śląsk Wrocław.
