Professional Development at Stellenbosch
Born in 2001, Adams entered the Stellenbosch academy as a youth player. In August 2020, he signed a long-term professional contract, marking a milestone as the club's inaugural academy graduate to reach the senior level. He debuted later that month during a 1–1 draw against Chippa United. Across six seasons with the organization, Adams accumulated 109 appearances and recorded seven goals. Adams transferred to Mamelodi Sundowns in January 2025. His impact was immediate, as he helped the team secure the South African Premiership title during his debut season. In his two seasons with the club, he participated in 67 matches. This period also saw the team claim the 2026 CAF Champions League trophy, a title secured in May 2026.
International Competition and World Cup Participation
The midfielder began his international journey with the South Africa B team in 2022 during the COSAFA Cup. He eventually earned a spot in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he played in every group-stage match. The cause of death remained undisclosed following the discovery, prompting an investigation by the Cape Town central police on 13 July.
