Television and Screen Appearances
Brazeau appeared in various episodic television series throughout the 1990s and 2000s. His television credits include Street Justice in 1992 and Highlander: The Series, where he performed in two episodes during the first season. Within the science fiction genre, he played the character Harlan in Stargate SG-1 during 1998 and 2001, later appearing as The Lord Protector in Stargate: Atlantis. He held the role of Sam Fisher in the series Cold Squad. In film, he participated in the 1989 production We're No Angels, the 1999 feature Double Jeopardy as Bobby, and the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen in 2009. He also served as the recurring Referee in the Air Bud film series from 1997 to 2003.

Beyond live-action performance, Brazeau contributed to the animation industry through voice acting. He provided the voice for Uncle Quigley in Sabrina: The Animated Series, Mr. Pretty in The Cramp Twins, and Stavros Garkos in Hurricanes. His vocal work extended to the National Film Board of Canada, where he participated in two Winnipeg-produced animated shorts: Get a Job and La Salla.
Stage Work and Health Incident
In the theatre, Brazeau performed as Edna Turnblad in an Arts Club Theatre Company production of Hairspray during the 2010 and 2011 season, modeling his portrayal on his mother and a childhood neighbor. In October 2009, he also played Man in chair for a National Arts Centre production of The Drowsy Chaperone in Ottawa. On May 12, 2011, while working backstage at a preview for Hairspray, he experienced a minor stroke. Andy Toth assumed the role during his recovery, but Brazeau returned to the production after missing 36 performances.
