He subsequently served as creative and artistic director for the animated series The Cobi Troupe. In 1995, his mascot Twipsy was chosen for Expo 2000 in Hannover, spawning a series broadcast in over one hundred countries. His studio, Estudio Mariscal, opened in 1989 and facilitated collaborations with figures such as Arata Isozaki, Pepe Cortés, and Fernando Amat.
