From 1932 to 1971, Dubasov served as the head artist of Goznak. During this period, he was responsible for the creation of sketches and designs for numerous Soviet banknotes, stamps, and state awards. His role expanded significantly between 1943 and 1945, when Goznak assumed responsibility for producing currency for various socialist states, including Mongolia, Poland, China, Czechoslovakia, and Albania. His designs for these currencies remained in circulation for several decades.
Professional Recognition
The state acknowledged his contributions to Soviet visual culture through various honors and decorations. In 1959, he received the title of Honored art worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Throughout his career, he was awarded the Order of Lenin in 1945 and the Order of the Red Banner of Labour in 1951, alongside the Order of the Badge of Honour and multiple other medals.
