Ingrid of Sweden (1910–2000) was a Swedish queen consort of Denmark. She was born in Stockholm Palace on 28 March 1910. She died in the Fredensborg Palace on 7 November 2000, at the age of 90.
Ingrid of Sweden served as Consort of Denmark (1947–1972).
Ingrid of Sweden was awarded Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Falcon, Grand Cross Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Grand Star of the Decoration for Services to the Republic of Austria (1962) and Order of the Elephant (1947). She was elected to Swedish royal family, Frederik IX of Denmark and Queen Ingrid and Danish Royal Family.
Ingrid of Sweden was the daughter of Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden and Princess Margaret of Connaught. She married Frederik IX of Denmark. She had three recorded children, Margrethe II of Denmark, Princess Benedikte of Denmark and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece. She is recorded as following Lutheranism.
