The career of Eden Golan began in 2015 when she entered the Russian selection process for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Born in Kfar Saba in 2003, she spent twelve years of her childhood in Moscow before returning to Israel in 2022 to pursue professional opportunities within the national music industry.

Early Development and Russian Period

Golan moved to Moscow at age six due to her father's employment. During this period, she engaged in various musical activities, including the 2016 children's edition of the New Wave competition. In 2018, she reached the finals of the fifth season of The Voice Kids as a member of Pelageya's team. She has described her time in Russia as having mixed emotional resonance, citing recurring instances of antisemitism alongside her initial professional music experiences.

Transition to Israeli Music Industry

Upon returning to Israel in 2022, Golan signed with the label Session42 at age 18. Her local television appearances included a participation in the second season finale of Ro'im et Hakol. She later gained national recognition by winning the talent show Rising Star, a program conducted in cooperation with the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation and Keshet 12, which secured her position as the Israeli representative for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

Eurovision and International Recognition

Representing Israel in 2024 with the song "Hurricane," Golan qualified for the final after placing first in the second semi-final. She finished fifth overall in the competition, securing second place in the public vote. Following the event, she received the Hero Award from United Hatzalah in New York City, and Mayor Eric Adams designated June 4, 2024, as Eden Golan Day. Her subsequent projects include the 2026 album Imperfections and an appearance at the 2026 Tel Aviv Pride festival.

Public Service and Personal Challenges

Although initially exempted from Israel Defense Forces service on medical grounds, Golan committed to volunteer as a singer for military personnel. She has remained active in public causes, performing at a Tel Aviv rally for hostages in May 2024 and supporting the Israeli delegation at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games. In 2026, she publicly discussed the psychological impact of public protests and the anxiety she has experienced since the 2024 Eurovision competition.
