Beyond his tenure with Sum 41, Whibley cultivated an independent career as a producer and manager. He maintained involvement with Bunk Rock Music until 2005, a period during which he produced for the band No Warning. His production credits extend to projects such as The Operation M.D.'s debut, We Have an Emergency, and various collaborative efforts with artists including Tommy Lee and 5 Seconds of Summer. He has also explored acting, appearing in the film Dirty Love and providing a guest voice for the animated series King of the Hill.
Professional Memoir and Allegations
In October 2024, Whibley published a memoir titled Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell. The text details his professional history and includes allegations of psychological and sexual abuse against the band's former manager, Greig Nori. Whibley alleged that Nori groomed him starting at age 16. Nori, the co-lead vocalist of Treble Charger, denied these claims and engaged legal counsel following the book's release.
