Early Career and Oud-Heverlee Leuven
Born in 1988 in Leuven, Odoi transitioned through several youth clubs, including a stint at Genk where he developed a friendship with Steven Defour. At age eighteen, he rejoined Oud-Heverlee Leuven to secure regular playing time. He made his senior debut on 28 April 2007 against Royal Antwerp. During the 2008-09 season, he established himself as a first-team regular, contributing three goals across thirty-five appearances.

In July 2009, Odoi signed a three-year contract with Sint-Truiden. Despite facing multiple suspensions, including red cards against K.V. Kortrijk and Germinal Beerschot, he remained a versatile fixture in the squad, rotating between the midfield and full-back positions. His performance during the 2010-11 season earned him the club's Player of the Season award and a place in their Team of the Year.
National Representation and Later Career
Odoi holds dual citizenship in Belgium and Ghana. While he represented the Belgium national team once in 2012, he also played for the Ghana national team. Beyond his formative years at Anderlecht, he spent time with K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen between 2013 and 2016. He currently continues his professional career as a defender for the Challenger Pro League side Club NXT.
