Carlos Henrique Casimiro began his trajectory in the São Paulo youth system, where he served as captain for age groups starting from age eleven. Early Development and São Paulo
Born on 23 February 1992 in São José dos Campos, Casimiro refined his defensive skills within the São Paulo FC structure. He made his professional Série A debut on 25 July 2010 against Santos. His first professional goal followed on 15 August in a draw against Cruzeiro. By the time he departed the club, he had accumulated 111 appearances and 11 goals, establishing a reputation that attracted international scouts.
Transition to European Football
The midfielder joined Real Madrid on loan in January 2013, initially playing 15 matches for Real Madrid Castilla. A permanent move to the first team followed for £5.1 million. To gain competitive minutes, he joined Porto on loan in 2014, where he made 41 appearances. Real Madrid subsequently paid a €7 million penalty fee to cancel Porto's purchase option, reintegrating him into the Santiago Bernabéu squad.

Under Zinedine Zidane, Casemiro became a central figure in a team that dominated European football. He contributed to three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, three Supercopa de España, three UEFA Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups, and five UEFA Champions League titles. His contribution included a long-range goal in the 2017 Champions League final against Juventus.
English Premier League Tenure
In August 2022, Casemiro transferred to Manchester United in a deal reportedly worth €70.65 million. He made his debut against Southampton on 27 August and scored his first Premier League goal against Chelsea in October. During his four-season tenure at the club, he helped secure both the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.
International Representation
Debuting for Brazil in 2011, Casemiro has earned over 90 caps. He has represented the nation in three FIFA World Cups in 2018, 2022, and 2026.
