Camila Cabello

Born in 1997 in Cojímar, Cuba, Camila Cabello established herself as a global pop presence through both group dynamics and solo output. Early Life and Migration

Raised in Havana and Mexico City, Cabello relocated to Miami with her mother at age six. Her father, a Mexican citizen, joined the family eighteen months later. She attended Miami Palmetto High School, eventually securing her diploma while pursuing professional musical interests. She became a United States citizen in 2008, maintaining a connection to her heritage as a Cuban-Mexican performer.

Fifth Harmony and Initial Collaborations

Cabello auditioned for The X Factor, where she joined four other contestants to form the group Fifth Harmony. The ensemble released projects including Better Together, Reflection, and 7/27, achieving international chart success. During her tenure with the group, she explored independent collaborations, including the platinum-certified single I Know What You Did Last Summer with Shawn Mendes and Bad Things with Machine Gun Kelly.

Solo Success and Studio Albums

Following her departure from Fifth Harmony in late 2016, Cabello released her self-titled debut album Camila in 2018, which featured the international hit Havana. Her subsequent albums include 2019's Romance, 2022's Familia, and the 2024 release C,XOXO. These records incorporated her Spanish-speaking background and diverse pop influences, garnering accolades such as Latin Grammy Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards.

Professional Versatility

Beyond her primary role as a singer and songwriter, Cabello transitioned into film, starring as the lead character in the 2021 production of Cinderella.
