Abhisit Vejjajiva (born 1964) is a Thai economist, politician and university teacher. Vejjajiva was born in Newcastle upon Tyne on 3 August 1964.
Vejjajiva held office as Leader of the Opposition, Prime Minister of Thailand (2008–2011), Member of the House of Representatives of Thailand (in 2019) and Member of the House of Representatives of Thailand (from 2026). He had begun working by 1992.
Vejjajiva received Order of the White Elephant, Order of the Crown of Thailand and Order of the Sun of Peru. He studied at St John's College, Eton College and Nuffield College.
Vejjajiva was the son of Athasit Vejjajiva. He married Pimpen Vejjajiva. He is recorded as following Buddhism.
