A professional career in Saudi football began for Abdulrahman Abdullah Ghareeb in 2017, when he moved from the youth ranks to the first team at Al-Ahli. Since then, the winger has established himself as a fixture in the Saudi Pro League, transitioning between major clubs and representing his nation at multiple levels of international competition, including the Olympic stage.
Early Development and Al-Ahli Tenure
Ghareeb emerged as an academy product of Al-Ahli. His initial call-up to the senior squad occurred in December 2017, necessitated by injuries to existing first-team members. By 17 September 2018, he secured his professional status by signing a formal contract with the club. During his tenure at Al-Ahli, which spanned until 2022, he recorded 93 appearances and scored 13 goals.

On 20 August 2022, Ghareeb finalized a transfer to Al-Nassr. The agreement was valued at a reported SAR 22 million and consisted of a four-year term. His contributions at Al-Nassr include a victory in the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup and the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League title.
International Competition
His national team career encompasses roles within the Saudi Arabia men's national team, starting in 2018, as well as the national under-23 squad from 2018 to 2020. During his time with the under-23 team, he played 12 matches and scored 3 goals. In 2021, he participated in the men's football tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan, representing the Saudi Arabia Olympic football team in three matches.
