She married an Israeli mathematician, moved to Jerusalem, converted to Orthodox Judaism, raised four children, and built a distinguished research career at the Einstein Institute of Mathematics of the Hebrew University. Her work on knot theory and quantum invariants has made significant contributions to the field.
