What happened
The documented facts are few and they are clear. Season 16 of America's Got Talent aired in 2021. Rosalita, ten, performed All By Myself by Eric Carmen, a song written for an adult voice and a staple of televised singing competitions precisely because it is difficult to survive. He advanced through the early rounds and was eliminated in the semi-finals, as the season's results table records.
Talent Recap's account of the reaction is about the mismatch between the voice and the child producing it: fans said he did not sing like a ten-year-old, and that his voice was beyond his years. That is the standard formulation for a child singer who clears the technical bar, and in a format built on surprise it is the highest compliment available.
How far the semi-final is
America's Got Talent runs auditions, judge cuts, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. Reaching the semi-finals means surviving both a panel and a public vote across multiple rounds. In a season that begins with thousands of applicants and features dozens of acts on air, the semi-final field is small.
It also means not reaching the final, and the honest framing matters here because much of what circulates about young contestants inflates their finish. The season 16 results table places Rosalita among the semi-finalists, not the finalists. He did not win, and no source used here records him taking a place in the last round.
Where the details run out
Talent Recap does not state his nationality. He is widely described as Filipino and is treated as such here, but that identification is not carried by the two sources used for this page, and a Philippine news source would be needed to settle it along with his home town and family.
His date of birth is not published in this material either; the birth year given is derived from his reported age of ten during the 2021 season. His school, his musical training, who coached him and how he came to audition are all absent. So is any account of what he has done since the season ended.
The children of America's Got Talent
Rosalita belongs to a recognisable lineage. The Talent Recap piece that covers him sets him alongside Victory Brinker, who appeared at nine, Jackie Evancho at ten, Kaitlyn Maher at four, and Quintavious Johnson at twelve. The show has returned to child singers in almost every season because they produce the format's most reliable moment: an expectation set by a child walking on stage, then broken within eight bars.
What happens afterwards varies enormously. Some of those names built careers; most did not, and the show's structure offers no support once a season ends. That is the context in which the absence of any post-2021 record for Rosalita should be read: it is the norm, not a mystery.
What is documented, and what is not
Firm: his age, ten; his appearance on season 16 of America's Got Talent in 2021; the song, All By Myself by Eric Carmen; the reaction described by Talent Recap; and his elimination at the semi-final stage.
Not documented in these sources: his date of birth, his nationality as stated by a primary source, his home town, his family, his training, and anything at all since 2021. Anyone searching for where Peter Rosalita is now will find that the honest answer, on this evidence, is that it has not been reported in the material used here.
