In 1991, AC Milan acquired Boban for 8 million pounds, initially loaning him to Bari. Following his return, he spent nine seasons at Milan, appearing in 251 matches and scoring 30 goals. His tenure included winning four Serie A titles, three Italian Super Cups, and the 1994 UEFA Champions League. He finished his professional playing career with a brief loan spell at Celta Vigo, retiring in 2001.
International Contributions
After representing Yugoslavia, including a 1987 World Youth Championship victory, Boban debuted for Croatia in 1990.
