Early Academic Formation
Born in Baku on 17 March 1932, Guluzadeh completed her secondary education with honors in 1949. She subsequently enrolled in the philosophy department at the Faculty of History of Baku State University. After achieving a bachelor's degree with honors, she pursued advanced studies between 1954 and 1957. She later finalized her doctoral education at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Guluzadeh dedicated much of her career to analyzing the superstructure in antagonistic societies. Her study titled Hurufism and its representatives in Azerbaijan emerged as a definitive text on the subject. Furthermore, she pioneered the philosophical analysis of the West-East problem within Azerbaijan, specifically examining this interaction in her 1984 publication concerning the patterns of Eastern philosophical development from the thirteenth through the sixteenth centuries.
Editorial Contributions
Her editorial efforts were central to the codification of national philosophical history. She served as the primary editor for the first volume of the Azerbaijan Philosophy History in 2002 and oversaw the second volume in 2007. Her contributions extended to the Azerbaijan Encyclopedia, where she authored the entry on philosophy. Additionally, she directed the publication of the journal Problems of Eastern Philosophy.
Awards and Recognition
The state recognized her scientific and academic achievements through several distinctions. She held the title of Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan. In 2015, President Ilham Aliyev awarded her the Shohrat Order, acknowledging her significant impact on the field. Guluzadeh remained an active member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences until her death in Baku on 26 September 2021.
