Zbigniew Boniek (born 1956) is a Polish association football player and manager. Boniek was born in Bydgoszcz on 3 March 1956.
Boniek competed in association football as a midfielder. The clubs and national sides on that record are AS Roma (1985–1988), 76 appearances and 17 goals, Juventus FC (1982–1985), 81 appearances and 14 goals, RTS Widzew Łódź (1975–1982), 172 appearances and 50 goals, Zawisza Bydgoszcz (1973–1975), 41 appearances and 14 goals and the Poland men's national football team (1976–1988), 80 appearances and 24 goals.
Boniek received Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Polish Sportspersonality of the Year (1982), Piłka nożna magazine plebiscite (1978), Piłka nożna magazine plebiscite (1982) and Kalos Kagathos. He took part in the 1986 FIFA World Cup, the 1978 FIFA World Cup and the 1982 FIFA World Cup. He was educated at Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw (magister degree) and High School No. 6, Bydgoszcz.
