Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit (1900–1990) was an Indian diplomat and politician. Pandit was born in Prayagraj on 18 August 1900. She died in Dehradun on 1 December 1990, at the age of 90.

Pandit held office as Member of the 4th Lok Sabha (1967–1971), Governor of Maharashtra (1962–1964), ambassador of India to the United States (1949–1951) and Member of the Constituent Assembly of India (from 1946).

Pandit received Padma Vibhushan (1962). She was elected to Alpha Kappa Alpha and National Flag Presentation Committee.

Pandit was the daughter of Motilal Nehru and Swarup Rani Nehru. She had one recorded child, Nayantara Sahgal. She is recorded as following Hinduism.
