Vechersky has directed extensive research and restoration projects, including work on the Movchansky Monastery in Putyvl in 1981 and the reconstruction of the house belonging to the Ukrainian painter Mykola Pymonenko in Maliutianka. His urban planning portfolio includes designing protection areas for numerous historical cities such as Poltava, Chernivtsi, and Odessa, as well as developing master plans for historical-architectural preserves in locations like Hlukhiv and Chernihiv.
