Vajiralongkorn (born 1952) is the King of Thailand since 2016. He was born in Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall on 28 July 1952.
Vajiralongkorn competed in association football. He held office as King of Thailand (from 2016) and Crown Prince of Thailand (1972–2016). The output is classed under jazz and blues. He worked in military personnel.
Vajiralongkorn received Order of the Royal House of Chakri (1965), Order of the Nine Gems (1973), Grand Cordon of the Order of the White Elephant (1973), Grand Cordon of the Order of the Crown of Thailand (1973) and Knight Grand Cordon of the Order of Chula Chom Klao (1976). He was elected to A.S. Friday (musical band). He studied at Millfield, Royal Military College and The King's School.
Vajiralongkorn was the son of Bhumibol Adulyadej and Sirikit. He married Soamsawali, Princess Suddhanarinatha and Sujarinee Vivacharawongse. He had four recorded children, Bajrakitiyabha, Princess Rajasarinisiribajra, Juthavachara Vivacharawongse, Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse and Chakriwat Vivacharawongse. He is recorded as following Buddhism.
