Tosin Adarabioyo

A debut in the senior squad at Manchester City arrived on 21 February 2016 when Tosin Adarabioyo started against Chelsea in the FA Cup. His progression through the youth system culminated in this first-team opportunity under Manuel Pellegrini, marking the beginning of a professional career that subsequently spanned loans at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers.

Development at Manchester City

Born in 1997 at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, the defender moved to Manchester during his childhood. Joining the youth setup at five years old, he reached the under-18 squad by age 14. He captained the side during the 2014-15 FA Youth Cup campaign and debuted for the first team during the 2015-16 season. He became the youngest player to start a UEFA Champions League match for the club in 2016 at the age of 19 years and 73 days.

Loan Periods and Championship Football

Seeking consistent playing time, he joined West Bromwich Albion for the 2018-19 season. Although primarily a centre-back, he spent part of the campaign at right-back before returning to his natural position. He later moved to Blackburn Rovers for the 2019-20 season, scoring his first senior goal in a victory against Sheffield Wednesday. He made 50 career appearances by June 2020 while at Blackburn.

Permanent Moves and International Eligibility

A permanent transfer to Fulham followed in July 2020. Throughout his development, he earned 14 caps for England across under-16 and under-19 youth levels. Despite these appearances, he remains eligible to represent Nigeria through descent as he has not yet made a senior appearance for the English national team.
