Born in Bangkok on 14 December 1980, she transitioned from a local talent show participant to a prominent figure in the Southeast Asian music industry, recording nine studio albums and starring in multiple feature films.
Early Career and Education
Young attended the Bangkok Patana School during her formative years. Her professional path began after her 1991 singing competition victory, which resulted in a record deal. By 1995, she released her debut album, titled Amita Tata Young. This release established her presence within the Thai music market, leading to a broader career that spanned singing, modeling, and acting.

The discography sequence includes releases such as Amazing TATA in 1997, Real TT in 2003, and the 2004 album I Believe. By 2006, she released Temperature Rising, followed by One Love in 2008 and Ready for Love in 2009. Beyond studio production, she performed "Reach for the Stars" during the 1998 Asian Games opening ceremony in Bangkok. In 2011, she returned to live performance with the premiere of "Let's Play," a track she co-wrote with VASSY and producer Jeliah.
Film and Humanitarian Contributions
Young expanded her career into film, debuting in the 1997 youth drama The Red Bike Story. Her filmography further includes roles in O-Negative, the 2004 production Dhoom, and the 2009 film Bitter/Sweet. She also appeared in the television drama Plai Tien.
