Suchinda Kraprayoon (1933–2025) was a Thai politician and general. He was born in Nakhon Pathom on 6 August 1933. He died in Phramongkutklao Hospital on 10 June 2025, at the age of 92.
Suchinda Kraprayoon held office as Prime Minister of Thailand (in 1992), Minister of Defence of Thailand (in 1992), Chief of Defence Forces of Thailand (1991–1992) and Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Army (1990–1992).
Suchinda Kraprayoon received Grand Cordon of the Order of the White Elephant, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Crown of Thailand, Grand Commander of the Order of Chula Chom Klao, Order of the Sacred Treasure, 1st Class and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was educated at United States Army Command and General Staff College, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School.
